Torrington Historic Society plans summer time occasions

TORRINGTON — The Torrington Historic Society is able to current its summer time Jazz within the Gardens live performance sequence, beginning July 23 at 6:30 p.m. with the New Chordtet Jazz.

The live shows shall be held within the Hotchkiss Fyler Home Museum Gardens on the society grounds at 192 Essential St.

The New Chordtet options Peter McEachern on trombone, Mike DiRubbo, saxophone, Dave Santoro on bass, Tom Melito on drums and Larry Ham on piano. Tickets begin at $15.

The sequence continues at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 6 with the Adam Nussbaum Trio with Adam Nussbaum, Dave Santoro and Jerry Bergonzi.
