Torrington Historic Society plans summer season occasions


TORRINGTON — The Torrington Historic Society is able to current its summer season Jazz within the Gardens live performance collection, beginning July 23 at 6:30 p.m. with the New Chordtet Jazz.

The concert events will probably be held within the Hotchkiss Fyler Home Museum Gardens on the society grounds at 192 Fundamental St.

The New Chordtet options Peter McEachern on trombone, Mike DiRubbo, saxophone, Dave Santoro on bass, Tom Melito on drums and Larry Ham on piano. Tickets begin at $15.

The collection continues at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 6 with the Adam Nussbaum Trio with Adam Nussbaum, Dave Santoro and Jerry Bergonzi.
