Katherine Izette Tate, 17, of Colfax, obtained the award for her civic and social actions, letters of advice and grade-point common, in addition to a written essay on her academic targets and potential challenges.

Belinda Huntsman, Deputy CEO and Chief Monetary Officer of the Whitman County Affiliation of Realtors, credit Tate’s award to involvement in FCCLA.
